In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of tabletop board games on the Android platform in Sweden presented intriguing trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.

Chess - Play and Learn from Chess.com saw a varied pattern in its weekly revenue, peaking at about $4.2K at the start of January and again in early March, before closing the quarter at $2.3K. Downloads started strong with over 1.2K in early January but declined to just over 1K by the end of March. Active users showed a steady decline from around 53.4K to 46.5K throughout the quarter.

Tic Tac Toe - 2 Player XO by CDT Puzzle Studio did not generate revenue but maintained a modest download rate, starting at 724 and ending the quarter at 338. Active users decreased from 4.9K to 3.4K over the same period.
